As the learners filed into the brightly lit science lab, a palpable excitement filled the air. The teaching staff introduced them to the wonders of chemistry. This week’s hands-on experiment was the creation of slime – a delightful mix of science and sensory play.

This week as part of our Science topic of the PH scale, the learners of the Acorn House have been conducting experiments with household substances to find out which were acids and which were alkalis.

On the 25th of September, we embarked on a fantastic cross country trip where learners demonstrated exemplary behaviour throughout the event. The team worked together with great sportsmanship and determination.
