Learners participated in a "jump in and read" reading session where we read extracts from Roald Dahl's The Witches. We then completed English learning which linked to what we had just read, so it was a good job everyone listened and followed the text very carefully!

To finish the day, two learners received a lucky golden ticket (from Willy Wonka himself!) for having a brilliant attitude to reading. 

It was fantastic to see learners talking about reading and sharing their love of books and stories with each other.
