This week, our 9 learners have been making use of the tablets in English lessons.  Learners used the Internet to research the social context and history behind their set text, The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas. Learners researched key terms including bigotry, racial discrimination and social prejudice and discussed their impact on society. Working together, they recorded their findings into a powerpoint presentation and were able to use this to make links to themes in the book.
